Sorry, I'm just scratching my head. I'd like to contribute, but I'm really enmeshed in the whole PerlPatterns thing, the MUD, "paying" contracts, and so forth. When things are beginning to settle I'll make use of this space to highlight some of the highlights. OddMuseWiki has been doing some amazing things through RSS syndication. This opens up a fourth InterWiki-supplanting option. Since most people active in the Wiki community are RecentChangesJunkies, having an aggregate change log may be all that is needed to spark more traditional hyperlinking. That brings up...Wikis have clear guidelines of what's on the table and the acceptable usage. Cross-linking could be a sensitive issue - the majority of people who run websites do not want users to leave the site, particularly to those that are probably and usually less than. Does linking off a site have acceptable? The syndication on-page of the latest changes to SisterSites might be feasible where linking isn't.
