Evans made her acting debut on 2003 Australian drama All Saints. Then, she was offered the lead role in an American campaign for Kool-Aid. Evans was also a regular in the Nine Network children’s series Snobs. This series focuses on two unlikely friends who come from two worlds. It ran for just one season. Evans was only on the show for one season. Evans played Matilda Hunter, a privileged teenage girl who is forced to move to the Summer Bay Caravan Park. Evans received nominations for a Logie Award and an Inside Soap Award for her role. Evans revealed in April of 2008 that she was offered an extension of her contract, but she turned down the proposal. Instead, Evans said that she would be leaving the series. Evans last appearance was in July of 2008. The same year, Evans assumed Claire Holt's lead role on Network Ten Children's television series H2O: Just Add Water. She played Isabella "Bella" Hartley, who was a mermaid and singer from the age of nine. Evans was the singer of the show's theme song, "No Ordinary Girl" and a number of additional songs that were played throughout the course of the season. The soundtrack album for the series, H2O: Just Add Water was her solo album. The album was released in March 2011. The show was ended after the fourth season.
