Alicia Malone

Alicia Maree Malone works as a Film Reporter and TV Host. She is also a writer, producer, Editor and all-around film geek. Her love for film began when she was a child. She would spend many evenings in pajamas in the video shop and scouting out 7 films for $7 each day. Bargain! She was an active member of the Film Club and elected herself as president. In the end, the school principal asked her not to get up in assembly to discuss movies any more. Alicia left high school to go to Sydney to find a job in a video store. She was there to help customers select the best movie, regardless of whether they asked. In the end, she secured an opening at the television station Channel Seven, where she stayed for 6 years in a variety of production roles. Alicia accepted an ad to an interview in the cable TV station Movie Network Channels. She was an anchor, producer and editor. The station produced and hosted various shows based on movies, such as Movie Juice and Premiere, as well as hosted the red carpet live such as the AFI Awards and Tropfest Short Film Festival. Alicia was also seen weekly on the popular morning show The Morning Show as their movie expert, was interviewed about films on radio station Triple M, and her written reviews were published in Filmink Magazine. In late 2010, Alicia quit everything, moved with two suitcases to Hollywood to pursue her goals in the film capital of the world. Since moving to Los Angeles Alicia has worked steadily as a freelance film journalist and critic. Her work has been featured on the American networks E!, MTV, Fandango, CNBC, Hollywood Today Live, Access Hollywood, HLN's The Daily Share, AMC Movie Talk, AMCi Indie Spotlight, IGN, NBC News, Reelz, EPIX, Celebuzz, Hello Giggles, Schmoes Know Movies Show. And the Australian version of Foxtel Movie Show, Today Show, Movie Juice, Studio 10, Movie Network Channels, Event Cinemas, Picture This on Go!, Scoopla, Filmink Magazine,
