Alicia Malone

Alicia Maree Malone is a Film Reporter, TV Host, Editor, Producer, Writer and all-around film geek. Her passion for film started at an early age. She would spend many Friday evenings in pajamas at the video store and scouting out seven films for $7 every day. Bargain! She was a member of the Film Club and elected herself as president. The principal of the school eventually asked her to stop talking about movies in school gatherings. Alicia quit high school in order for Sydney for an employment in a video store. There, she helped customers choose the right movie regardless of whether they had asked. She was soon offered an opportunity at Channel Seven. There she was employed for six years in various production positions. When she responded to an advertisement for a job at cable TV station Movie Network Channels, Alicia was hired as a editor, producer and host. She was the host of red carpet events at the Tropfest Short Film Festival and AFI Awards, as well as fronted and created various shows that were based on movies, such as Movie Juice and Premiere. Alicia was also a weekly guest on The Morning Show, where she was a movie expert. She was also heard on Triple M talking about movies and her film reviews were published by Filmink Magazine. In late 2010 Alicia gave up everything, took two suitcases to move to Hollywood to chase her dreams in the capital of film in the world. Since living in Los Angeles Alicia has worked for a long time as a film freelance journalist and critic; her work has been featured on America's E!, MTV, Fandango, CNBC, Hollywood Today Live, Access Hollywood, the HLN's The Daily Share, AMC Movie Talk, AMCi Indie Spotlight, IGN, NBC News, Reelz, EPIX, Celebuzz, Hello Giggles The Schmoes Know Show. And Australia's Foxtel Movie Show, Today Show, Movie Juice, Studio 10, Movie Network Channels, Event Cinemas, Picture This on Go!, Scoopla, Filmink Magazine,
