But it expanded quickly, and eventually had 1 billion users in 2012. Zuckerberg took the company public by acquiring majority stakes in the month of May. He became the most successful self-made billionaire in the world, at just age 23. In the Time's Person of the Year honor, Zuckerberg was awarded in the year 2010. Zuckerberg was ranked 10th on the Forbes list of the World's most powerful people in December 2016. He ranked 11th on the Forbes 400 list, with an estimated wealth of $57.7billion. It's a decrease from his rank as the third richest American in 2021. He had an estimated net worth of $134.5billion. As per Forbes Real Time Billionaires, Zuckerberg was the 26th richest person on the planet in the end of December in 2022.
