Dan Bongino

 Bongino was criticized by former colleagues at the Secret Service for using his Secret Service background as part of his bid for office in the political arena and for his claim of having secret information that was derived from conversations he had with the Obama White House.A friend of his had a negative opinion about him for trying to use his proximity to President Barack Obama in his political career: "He's trying to draw attention to himself and is hijacking the Secret Service brand. It's over with his Secret Service experience. Bongino said he was able to access "high-level discussions" in the White House. A former colleague who is not named said that Bongino "tends exaggerate the significance of the presidential particulars" and "exaggerates his proximity" and also that he does not participate in White House meetings. We do not participate on meetings at the highest level. As a response to criticisms of an anonymous ex-colleague, Bongino said, "There's no secret information in the book" and "It's not a retelling. It's my account of the Secret Service. He rejected Birtherism, the claim that the president Obama was born outside of the United States.His second book, The Fight The Fight: A Secret Service Agent's Inside Account of Security Failures as well as the Political Machine was released in January of 2016
