Alicia Roanne Witt was born August 21, 1975. She is an American performer and actress. After being recognized by David Lynch who cast her in Twin Peaks (1990) and Dune (1984) and Dune (1984), she made her name as an actress for children. Witt was also a part of Fun (1994), where she played a disturbed teenager. She was also in Mr. Holland’s Opus (1995) as well as in Urban Legend (1998) as a terrorized college student. She was in Cameron Crowe's Vanilla Sky (2001), Two Weeks Notice (2002), Last Holiday (2006) and the thriller 88 Minutes (2007). Witt has made television appearances in The Walking Dead, The Sopranos, Nashville, Two and a Half Men, The Librarians, Friday Night Lights, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Mentalist, Cybill, Justified, Twin Peaks: The Return, CSI: Miami, and Orange Is the New Black. Alongside acting, Witt has been described as a musician's prodigy. she is an accomplished pianist as well as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Witt has appeared in eight of the annual Hallmark Christmas movies; the first one was broadcast in 2013. She was also the storywriter and executive producer for 2020's Christmas Tree Lane. She also sang two original songs.
