Alicia Maree Malone works as an Film Reporter and TV Host. She's also a writer, producer and Editor, Screenwriter and an all-round film enthusiast. Her interest in film began at an early age. She would spend many evenings in pajamas in the video shop, choosing 7 films for $7 each day. Bargain! At school, she started a Film Club, electing herself to be the president. In the end, the school principal asked her not to get up in assembly to discuss films anymore. After graduating from the high school of her choice, Alicia moved to Sydney and was employed at a video store, where she took to advising customers on the best films to watch, no matter if it was requested or not. Soon, she scored a position at the TV station Channel Seven, where she was employed for six years, in various production roles. After responding to an ad for a job with television station on cable Movie Network Channels, Alicia took up a role as host as well as editor, producer and host. The station produced and hosted several movie-related shows, including Movie Juice and Premiere, and also hosted live red carpet events for the AFI Awards and Tropfest Short Film Festival. Alicia was also a weekly guest on The Morning Show, where she was a film expert. She was also heard on Triple M talking about movies and her movie reviews were published by Filmink Magazine. Alicia packed her bags and left everything to move to Hollywood in late 2010. Alicia has lived in Los Angeles for the past 10 years as a freelance journalist and critic. Her work has appeared on American television channels such as E!, MTV. Fandango. CNBC. Hollywood Today Live. Access Hollywood. The HLN's The Daily Share. NBC News. Reelz. EPIX. Celebuzz.
