Alicia Keys

 Alicia Augello Cook, born 25 January 1981 was an American musician, singer and pianist. Keys is a classically-trained pianist who began singing at the age of 12 and was signed by Columbia Records at the age of 15. After disputes with the label, she signed with Arista Records and later released her debut album, Songs in a Minor in 2001, under the label J Records in 2001. The album was critically as well as commercially successful, securing over 12 million copies worldwide. It spawned the Billboard Hot 100 number-one single "Fallin'", and it won Alicia Keys five Grammy Awards in 2002. The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003) was her second album. It was a huge success, selling eight million copies across the globe and produced the singles "You Don't Know My Name" and "If I've Got You", and "Diary". She was awarded four additional Grammy Awards for the album.
