Alicia Keys

 Alicia Augello Cook (born January 25 1981) is professionally known as Alicia Keys, is an American artist, singer and pianist. Keys is a classically trained pianist who began writing songs when she was 12, was signed to Columbia Records at the age of 15. After disputes with the label, she signed with Arista Records and later released her debut album, Songs in A Minor, with J Records in 2001. It was a commercial and critically-acclaimed album that sold more than 12 million copies all over the globe. It was the source of the Billboard Hot 100 number-one single "Fallin'", and was the recipient of Keys five Grammy Awards in 2002. Her follow-up album, The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003), was a huge critical and commercial success, selling 8 million copies across the globe, as well as producing the singles "You Don't Know My Name", "If I Ain't Got You" as well as "Diary". The album garnered her an additional four Grammy Awards.
