Coppola began her career with the game show on MTV Remote Control as hostess. In 2003, she starred with Gary Oldman and Ving Rhames in the film Sin as well as a Hollywood rehab character by the name of Toni Stark on Dawson's Creek. In the 2004 episode, she played the role of an officer of public relations for the power company. Coppola was also an unusual female serial killer who agreed to catch her clone in Crossing Jordan's episode in 2005, "Road Kill". She had a recurring role on the NBC show American Dreams, playing the character of Nancy. In the episode "Woo Hoo, a Hernia Exam!" on Two and a Half Men, she was the role of Dr. Michelle Talmadge.
