 Zendaya Maree Stoermer Cole (/z@n’deI.@/z@n–DAY-@; September 1 1997) is an American singer, actress and comedian. Her achievements include an award from the Golden Globe Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people around the globe in its annual list of 2022.Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zendaya began her career as a young performer and model. In 2010 she made her TV debut on Shake It Up, as Rocky Blue. She also starred in K.C. as the main character. Undercover (2015-2018) which was produced by the channel. Her debut feature film was in 2017 with the superhero film Spider-Man: Homecoming, and she was later in the sequels. Zendaya's role as Rue Bennett, a struggling addict in the HBO teens' drama Euphoria (2019-present) made her the youngest recipient of two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in the field of Drama Series. Her movies include The Greatest Showman (2017) and Malcolm & Marie (2021), as well as the science-fiction epic Dune (2021).
