Mary Nightingale

 Nightingale was educated at St Margaret's School, an independent school for girls, near the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Exeter, Devon, and King Edward VI School in Totnes, Devon. Her bachelor's degree in English was obtained from Bedford College, University of London. It has merged with Royal Holloway University of London. Nightingale began her journalistic career as a journalist and presenter on the World Business Satellite for TV Tokyo. Nightingale was later journalist and presenter on World Business Satellite, a satellite for TV Tokyo. She also presented the BBC One Holiday program and co-hosted Carlton Country. In May 1994, she was the first presenter for After 5 the London News Network early-evening show. She was also a co-presenter on ITV's coverage of the 1991 Rugby World Cup in Britain and France. In 1995, she was the host of the next tournament from South Africa on the evening highlights show. In 1996, Nightingale presented BBC Two's Ski Sunday
