 Bello first was seen on TV in the episodes of The Commish (1991), Due South (94), Nowhere Man (95), Misery Loves Company(95) and ER (1997-98). After just eight weeks on the air, the television series Mr. & Mrs. Smith ended Bello's character in the role of Mrs. Smith. Following her appearance in the final three episodes of the third season of ER and was then selected to play Dr. Anna Del Amico in the role of a pediatrician. The actress continued to be a part of the show in the fourth season of the show as a regular member of the cast. The year 2000 saw her debut on the screen.
