Jessica Paré

 Pare was able to get an unimportant role in Bonanno: A Godfather's Story in her senior year in high school. It convinced her that acting was a viable career. Pare had a small role in the show Big Wolf on Campus, an horror show, and En Vacances (French film) in 1999. After being kicked out of Montreal's Dawson College's Fine Arts program and pursuing acting for another two years. Pare was an assistant to photographers for auto photo shoots. When Pare was selected for an audition, Denys Arcand selected her to play Pare in Stardom (2000). Pare portrayed an experienced ice hockey player who became a worldwide supermodel. The film received mixed reviews. comedy-satire film concluded the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. Following the film's premier, Pare was voted the "it girl" in the Canadian film industry. Pare was also listed as among the top 25 Most Beautiful People in 2012 by People 14 in 2013 One of the very few Canadian citizens to receive this distinction. The next film she made was Lost and Delirious (2001) that tells the story of two lovers in love who are made to stay in a girl's boardhouse. In the Sundance Film Festival, it received mixed reviews. However, the performance of Pare, Piper Perabo and Mischa Barton were well-received. Pare was part of Random Passage, a television mini-series (2002) which was inspired by the award-winning books by Bernice Morgan. She also played the role of Napoleon's mistress on the mini-series on television Random Passage (2002). Additionally in 2002, she appeared as a pop singer in Deepa Mehta's Bollywood/Hollywood (2002/02). She was in Posers, a girl-gang action film (2003). In 2004, she was part of The Life of Nancy Eaton (2004). and Life of Nancy Eaton (2004) in which she played the role of Nancy Eaton. Pare also made her Hollywood debut in Wicker Park (2004). In 2004, she also appeared in the mini-series on TV called Lives of the Saints. Pare was also a part of the mockumentary See This Movie (2004) as well as a character in Jack & Bobby, a WB Teen Drama series that follows two brothers. One of them is the president of the United States.
