Ally Sheedy

 Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, a New York City native, was born on June 13th, 1962. She has two siblings brothers: Patrick and sister Meghan. The mother of her child, Charlotte Baum (nee Sheedy), is an editor and press agent. She was active in women's rights and civil liberties movements. The father of her daughter John J. Sheedy Jr. is a Manhattan advertising executive. Her mother, who is Eastern European Jewish, is her father, who is of Irish Catholic heritage. Her maternal grandmother hails from Odessa located in Ukraine. Her parents divorced in the year 1971. She was a student at the Bank Street School for Children as well as the Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in New York City. She graduated in the year 1980. When she was six she started dancing at the American Ballet Theatre [9]. She had planned to take on a full-time job. But, she chose to quit dancing in order to concentrate on acting full-time. She began to study acting under Harold Guskin. She was just 12 when she released She Was Nice to Mice. McGraw-Hill Education published the book and it was a huge success. LinkHer debut was on the game show To Tell the Truth, on the 19th of June, 1975. Sheedy relocated to Los Angeles at age 18 and was enrolled in the University of Southern Cal's department of drama. Sheedy started her acting career simultaneously and completed three years of classes toward the degree of a BFA in acting.
