Born in Vancouver, Alisha Newton began appearing in commercials at the age of four. She began acting four years later. Newton was the character Young Annabeth Chase in the following release, Twentieth century Fox's Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Since 2012, Newton has been a regular on the CBC drama series Heartland. She plays Georgie Fleming Morris as a child who is given a loving home at Heartland Ranch by Jack Bartlett, Shaun Johnston, and his granddaughters Amy (Amber Marshall) and Lou (Michelle Morgan). Newton played the part of a minor character in the film of Sofia Dunlap, in 2014's The Tree That Saved Christmas.
